While the Brown family recognizes the power in using music to reach others, their focus is to show people God’s love—no matter what it takes.
The Brown Family is based in the Greenville, SC area and has served together in full-time ministry since 2009. “Loving people to Christ” is their mission statement, and music is the main avenue used to share their hope in Him.
When they aren’t traveling, the Browns spend much time on the relational side of their ministry, partnering with local missions and following up with people God has put in their path who might need a word of hope. While the Brown family recognizes the power in using music to reach others, their focus is to show people God’s love—no matter what it takes.
areas of ministry
God has led the Browns to minister at various places such as The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, churches of all sizes, homeless missions, addiction recovery, conferences, prisons, military groups, and anywhere there is a need.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16
Partnering with others
The Brown family is involved with several ministries and leaders within the church. Over the years, they have been connected with these individuals and are amazed at all God is doing through them. Click on each logo to be directed to their websites.
Led by Meagan Brown Kestner, Discover Fearless is dedicated to helping people discover a more fearless life, free from anxiety, fear and depression. Through her blog, Meagan connects with people from all walks of life who are seeking peace, and she is able to share God's hope with them.
serving at home
When the Browns aren't traveling, they love to get involved with others in their community who are reaching the lost or who have needs themselves. Through mentoring and discipleship, they are able to build up other believers. The family is also passionate about joining forces with church families and individuals who have a heart for sharing God's love through outreach events. On a monthly basis they serve the Spartanburg Rescue Mission and the Renewal Center addiction recovery program for women which are both branches of Miracle Hill Ministries.
When BFM first began, Erin and Meagan Elizabeth recorded a project together titled Erin Elizabeth that is a compilation of songs they had written. Through leading worship together, sharing their songs, and Angie's heart for teaching, God has allowed them to minister to women through events at The Cove, banquets, conferences, and bible studies.
How are BFM's financial needs met?
The Lord faithfully provides through honorariums, love offerings and donor support. BFM could not function without these means. Please know that if you feel led to support this ministry, any amount—large or small—is helpful to keep it going. The Brown family goes wherever God leads.

FOR THE LOVE OF HORSES
Jeff and Amber Massey are close friends of the Browns. For two years God asked Amber to write down the lessons He taught her through life with her first horse, Marquise. Despite feeling inadequate, Amber chose to obey. Before her manuscript was even complete, Harvest House Publishers offered her a contract, and now For the Love of Horses is available anywhere books are sold.

Music has always been the Brown family’s main avenue to share their hope in Christ. They have served together in full-time ministry since 2009 when Mark and Angie launched Brown Family Ministries with their daughters, Erin and Meagan. Later the sons-in-law, Peter and Caleb, also joined in. In 2016, Caleb and Meagan were called to another mission, and Justin Preston joined the family as the new drummer.
God has instilled in the Browns a passion for genuine worship and has led them to minister at various places.
