Areas of Ministry

God has led our family to minister at various places such as The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, churches, homeless missions, addiction recovery ministries, conferences, prisons, veteran homes, Native American reservations, and anywhere else God sends us.

We also love to get involved with others in our community who are reaching the lost or who have needs themselves. Through mentoring and discipleship, we are able to build up other believers. It is also our passion to join forces with church families and individuals who have a heart for sharing God's love through outreach events.

β€œFor the body does not consist of one member but of many.” 1 Corinthians 12:14

On thing is for sure. Our God is always at work. Below you will find our story of how the Lord intertwined our ministry with many others. Click on their individual links to learn more about them. You will be blessed to see how the Lord is reaching out to the lost in some really unique ways. We are so very grateful that the Lord has allowed us to serve alongside these faithful believers. Enjoy and be encouraged!

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23

Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove

In 2011 we were invited to lead our first conference, The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove. It was an opportunity that was clearly more than we could have ever asked for or even had imagined. But the Lord knew the plans that He had for us. In His kind and faithful way, He allowed us to meet pastors, fellow believers, and other ministry leaders that helped expand our borders of evangelistic reach. To this day, we are grateful and overwhelmed at the many things that the Lord has done.

Riding High Ministries

Oct-Born Wild 3.jpg

In 2010, we launched a Bull Riding Ministry that allowed us to reach out to bull riders, barrel racers, stock contractors, bullfighters, along with opportunities for Cowboy Church.

Because of our involvement with the rodeo world, an associate from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association introduced us to Todd Pierce of Riding High Ministries. We began helping Todd and RHM musically with their Born Wild Created to be Free evangelistic events in which Todd presents the gospel using an unbroken horse. The presentation is not only powerful to experience but also beautiful to watch and be a part of. Since 2012, we have partnered with Riding High Ministries and have traveled across the country sharing the love and hope of Christ as the Lord allows.

Oregon Prison Tour

In the summer of 2014, we joined forces with Riding High Ministries and the Oregon Department of Corrections for BFM's first Oregon Prison Tour. It has since become an annual event and one that is dear to our hearts. We have grown to have a passion for sharing Christ's love to the lost and encouragement for the believing community found inside the prison walls. We have developed personal relationships with some of the inmates in which a pen-pal type relationship now exists. Our prayer is to continue to deepen and grow our impact for eternal change in the lives of those incarcerated.

Visions of Hope

We met Sandy and Dale Russell of Visions of Hope several years ago when they showed up at one of the Oregon Prison events and helped us set up and tear down our band equipment. They have such servants' hearts. The next year, they showed up again. With each opportunity to serve together came the opportunity to share. The more that we heard about their ministry's mission with the inmates, the greater our love and appreciation grew for them. Please take a peek in the BFM store to see, read, and shop in the Visions of Hope section.

Fellow Countrymen Veteran's Ministry

Our youngest daughter, Meagan, has a history of PTSD. David Nardone, a Marine Veteran, is also a survivor of PTSD. Because of this common ground and understanding of the fierce struggles that go with PTSD, the Lord saw fit to merge our paths. We have been beyond blessed to watch David and Renee Nardone launch and grow the ministry of FellowCountrymen, a ministry for homeless veterans. We look forward to anytime the Nardone's need any services that we can offer to help support their efforts. In 2020, the Lord birthed a new ministry opportunity when BFM purchased Christmas stockings made by the Oregon inmates. The money made from the sale of the stockings is used to support orphans in Uganda. We then filled the stockings and gave them as Christmas gifts to the veterans housed by FellowCountrymen and the Alston Wilkes Society. The love and hope of Christ were shared verbally and tangibly.

On Eagle's Wings-Native American Ministry

In 2013, we met Ron Hutchcraft. Ron is not only the founder of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries but also of On Eagles' Wings. On Eagles' Wings is a ministry specific to the reach of Native Americans on the various reservations across the country. We have been able to lead worship for several of Ron's Seminars as well as RHM's President's Retreats. In 2018, as our love and appreciation for the work of this ministry grew, we joined the OEW's Cook Team. The Cook Teams work behind the scenes during OEW's Summer of Hope Tours. Our job as a member of the Cook Team is to cook and serve all meals to the Native Warriors who lead in Native to Native evangelistic events on the reservations.

Cross Culture Network

Many years ago, we met Florin and Amy Palaghia of Cross Culture Network. This ministry reaches out to international students. No words can really express how much the gift of involvement with Amy and Florin has meant to us at BFM. Their understanding and love for the people that they serve is an inspiration. It is always a joy to go alongside them in loving on the students through music as well as just hanging out with them during their get-togethers.

Celebrate Recovery

Over the years we have received invitations to lead worship for Celebrate Recovery Meetings. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life. If you are not familiar with the program and know of someone who needs help, you should check out their link.

Our mission statement is Loving People to Christ. Since the beginning of BFM, we have always said that the music is the hub of the ministry. It is the bridge that has allowed us to meet and to minister to so many. We once had an attendee at a conference tell us that "music penetrates without permission". Nothing could be truer. We count it a privilege to serve the Lord through BFM.
